She messaged me through the contact form on my website. Something like this…
“Hi,
I love your work and was wondering if you are looking for new models. If so, can we meet up for a coffee to discuss?”
That's how I remember it, and eventually we met at the Good Earth in Eau Claire Market. She sent no photos of herself, didn't mention what she was open to, but over coffee we came up with several ideas.
For these types of meetings, and for the clients as well, I would bring albums and prints to discuss ideas over. Old school was the only school, and a better experience than swiping on a tablet or phone. At any time, either of us could turn a page or hold up an image for the other to see.
As you can see here, we did a few different styles: some bordering on glamour, others meant to show off her physique, and others purely figure studies.
